Kate Spicer says Sort Yourself Out

It's all histamines. Are intolerances and allergies just metabolic angries? Should allergies include mental health issues?

"Any allergies?" You bet. Tonnes. Cheap beef, cashflow, low grade sauvignon blanc, my ex's texts, being tired, plastic bread...I'm histamine intolerant baby

I wonder how many hours of my life will have been spent listening to and answering the question, “Can I just ask if anyone has any allergies?”

As a kid being allergic to something, “I’m allergickt”, was a status symbol like fainting in assembly or owning a pony. Hardly anyone had them. “I’m allergickt to tomatoes and nylon knickers,” I used to announce to anyone who would listen. When of course I was allergickt to neither.

UH OH!

Allergies stopped being interesting after the age of about eight but they would come back with vengeance. Now everyone has them. Everyone’s got something they can’t tolerate.
